My Story

As a kid, I always felt that I wanted to do something different. I didn’t want to become a typical accountant or lawyer, I wanted to make something that would create long-lasting impact in the world, something that would leave behind a legacy for my name. Despite having this vision, I had zero direction as to how I wanted to get there. Now that I’m in TKS, I’ve been building the stepping stones to reach that end goal. I’ve been working on projects in Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence alongside companies like Xanadu, SanctuaryAI, Microsoft, IBM, Rigetti and more.

There is no other program like TKS in the world. None. TKS is not your typical extracurricular program that you put on a resume. It’s a mindset and lifestyle."

How has TKS impacted me?

Since TKS, I’ve become limitless. At 10, I among almost everybody around me had already limited our potential to a quarter of what it could be. People create self-imposed boundaries in our heads for what we can and can not do. TKS taught me that these boundaries don’t exist. People can really accomplish almost whatever they want regardless of age, IQ, socio-economic status etc. This limitless mindset has catalyzed my growth over the past two years immensely. From interning at a Quantum Computing company at 14 to travelling the world to speak with people about my experiences, I can’t wait to see what I can accomplish in 5 years.

How is TKS different from other programs?

The reality is that there is no other program like TKS in the world. None. TKS is not your typical extracurricular program that you put on a resume. It’s a mindset and lifestyle that you adopt. While we learn immensely about the world through talking to different types of people, working with companies and learning about uprising tech, we also work on becoming better people through self-awareness, empathy, mindfulness, fitness and more.

Advice I would have given to myself before I joined TKS:

Explore. I often categorized myself to just being a science person. But what’s really fascinating is when a science person then talks to an art person or a philosophy person. It’s really the intersection of fields that create the most unique and transformative innovations. Boxing yourself to one area of field just limits all the amazing things you can learn about and do.
No matter how high your bar is, raise it.”
