My Story

I was always a very curious and ambitious student in high school, but I also felt unfulfilled. In the summer of grade 9, I decided to spontaneously go on a service trip to India, which completely changed the way I viewed the world. I realized how many basic problems still exist in the world like not having clean drinking water, energy or a roof on top of your head. After joining TKS that year, I learned about Blockchain, where I developed an app to track medicines, and various algorithms in Artificial Intelligence to diagnose Pneumonia and Malaria!

TKS was the reason why I started to believe in myself and realize that I can add positive value in the world."

How has TKS impacted me?

This program is revolutionary, and because of it, I realized that I had the potential to do so much more than I was doing at that time. I've learned about such cool technologies like Genomics, Nanotechnology, Blockchain, and most of all, I better understand how the world works. I've developed such strong relationships with people who I now consider my best friends and possible future co-founders. I've spoken at such large stages and met some of the coolest people in the world.

How is TKS different from other programs?

It's not just your average high school program because it really does prepare you for the real world. It's not just a tech program, it's a human development program that allows you to grow immensely in just a matter of months or years. You never stop learning and growing.

Advice I would have given to myself before I joined TKS:

I wish I believed in myself more. Before TKS, I didn't realize how much-unlocked potential I still had. I was very unsure of what my purpose was in life, and it felt like I didn't have the right culture to do what I wanted. This program helped me better understand my trajectory in life, helped me develop the right mindset and understand the value I could add to others.

To the crazy ones, the misfits: the people that are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who actually do.”
