- Work with the Director of Marketing to disseminate resources for educators and organizations, including videos, blog content, newsletters, events, webinars, etc.
- Manage a pipeline of opportunities ranging from a prospect who’s expressed a need through to a partner (partner, in this case, is a “closed deal”!)
- Share market feedback and insights with colleagues to guide the creation of new marketing collateral that will iteratively and ultimately lead to the development of a repeatable process

- You're results oriented and get things done.
- You love building relationships.
- You embrace ambiguity and uncertainty.
- You’re a natural communicator and can tell a great story.

TKS is looking for a Director of Growth to figure out how to expand to 50 major global cities in six years.
Yup, that's it.
Have you ever been asked if you’re good at dealing with ambiguity? Well, this is ambiguous as it gets.
Here’s what we mean.
To launch a city, we need three things:
Applications – At least 300 student applications in launch cities and 500 in existing cities
Space – A cool home for TKS on the weekends, normally out of a top tech company that provides their space to run the program
City directors – one director and one associate director to run the program. A director is a former founder and has worked at a top tech company/startup/VC/consulting firm. They are legit.
You will be working with product, marketing, ops, and talent to ensure we have the processes, teams, and capabilities in place to scale. You will very quickly earn your way on to the senior leadership team and work directly with the founders. You should also love hiring people and growing teams. You will lead our director hiring strategy and execution – finding talented people working on really cool things, becoming their friends, and sharing how awesome this opportunity is in a short period of time – then work with them every day. Your KPIs will be tied to every function, and will be measured on student outcomes and city growth.
You should consider this role if:
- You are incredibly ambitious.
- You have a strong work ethic and bias toward action.
- You highIy value anti-fragility. You take feedback incredibly well and don't get flustered.
- You're an expert problem solver and have an ability to think from first principles. Nothing is impossible to you, there's always a way to figure it out.
- You're scrappy, curious, persuasive, and learn fast.
- You're incredibly mission driven and care about doing something bigger than yourself.
- High pressure environments and responsibility don't phase you.
- You're results oriented and get things done.
- You love building relationships with sharp people.
- You embrace ambiguity and uncertainty.
- You’re a team player and know how to motivate others to produce their best work.
- You’re a natural communicator and can tell a great story.
- Chill and easy to get along with / relate to.
- You enjoy being around driven and energetic young people (i.e., our students).
Requirements
- 7+ years experience and a background in either GM, VC, expansion, or top management consulting firms
- Have grown and managed teams
- Demonstrated capacity to develop people and lead well

- Mission driven and wants to have a large positive impact on the world

- Attend world-class conferences and events.
- Network with influential people
- Build close relationships with the next-generation of unicorn founders
- Grow fast with the company
